A leading company in retail is seeking a Supervisor to drive team performance and store financial metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong supervisory background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer service. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community and outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and fosters a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding on business practices.

2 years’ college OR 1 year retail experience plus 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience plus 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
BS in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate in People and Business Leadership. Supervisory experience managing 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
