Position Summary

At Walmart, we're seeking a dedicated Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services to join our team. In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of exterior service technicians
• Managing landscape and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and team leadership
• Proven leadership skills and ability to train staff on processes, equipment, and safety
• Proficiency with technology (phones, tablets, laptops) for work management
• Willingness to perform landscaping tasks with or without specialized equipment
• Knowledge of planting, pruning, pest/disease management, irrigation, pressure washing
• Strong customer service skills and troubleshooting ability
• Commitment to company policies and safety standards

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, state-issued driver’s license

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with no recent DUI, DWI, or reckless driving convictions
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire
• At least 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or related field
• Certifications in nursery or landscape professions
• Leadership experience in landscaping crews
• Proficiency in Spanish
• State/local licensing where required
