$26.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Position Summary

At Walmart, we're seeking a dedicated Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services to join our team. In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance and landscaping services.
• Coordinate and supervise exterior building and grounds maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are upheld during all operations.
• Manage work orders and record-keeping using available technology.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, weed management, and planting with or without specialized equipment.
• Apply knowledge of planting, pruning, pest/disease management, and chemical applications.
• Maintain exterior spaces, including irrigation, pressure washing, and general grounds upkeep.
• Troubleshoot issues and prioritize work to meet customer and company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping or exterior building maintenance and team leadership.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to train and ensure safety.
• Proficiency in using technology for work management.
• Willingness to perform landscaping tasks with or without equipment.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices and pest management.
• Experience with exterior maintenance including irrigation and pressure washing.
• Strong customer service orientation and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety, policies, and standards.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, state-issued driver's license.

Additional Information

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00-$51.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with no recent serious traffic violations or preventable accidents.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification.
• 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or related field.
• Certified nursery or landscape professional.
• Experience leading a crew or supervising landscaping teams.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• State/local licensing as required.
