Position Summary
The Director, Earnings Governance for Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Operations will play a pivotal role in ensuring drivers achieve their earnings goals by providing accurate, timely, and satisfactory disbursements and transparency into their earnings. This position is critical in making Spark Driver the platform of choice for gig workers.
What you'll do
- Ensure Accurate Earnings: Guarantee the disbursement of expected earnings within the established Service Level Agreements (SLA), local laws, government regulations, and similar requirements across all earnings scenarios. Work directly with Compliance and Legal teams to identify, define, and validate changes to earnings processes.
- Financial Institution Optionality: Provide drivers with various options regarding the frequency and method of earnings disbursement. Collaborate with technology partners on financial institution integrations and requirements for compliance.
- Work with Accounting and Finance Partners: Collaborate to translate regulatory and legal requirements into controls, ensuring operations are compliant.
- Resolve Earnings-Related Defects: Partner with platform, driver experience, and global tech teams to identify, report, and resolve defects related to earnings that impact customer and driver experience. Coordinate with Fraud and Investigation teams to prevent earnings-related fraud schemes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field, with 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area, or 7 years’ experience in these fields. Additionally, 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Preferred qualifications include working on cross-functional teams or projects, a Master's in Business Administration, Project Management Professional certification.
