Position Summary...

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively.

What you'll do...
  1. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
  2. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and lead process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  3. Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring operational processes.
  4. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties, while fostering a culture of belonging and recognition.
  5. Coordinate activities with stakeholders, support plans to meet customer and business needs, and build accountability for achieving results.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  7. Build high-performing teams, embrace diversity, and create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
  8. Act with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting Walmart’s culture and goals.
  9. Deliver results by prioritizing customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short- and long-term goals.
  10. Drive continuous improvement through technology adoption, learning, and supporting change.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of all job-related trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related certifications, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
