Job description

Position Summary...

What you'll do...
  1. Lead and develop teams: Teach, train, and actively listen to associates; tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach); communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introduce and lead company change efforts; provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions; and communicate business objectives effectively.
  2. Model customer service standards: Demonstrate exceptional customer service by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage customer service initiatives; resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues; develop action plans to address deficiencies; and lead process improvements for high-quality customer experience.
  3. Drive financial performance: Review and evaluate P&L statements; manage budgeting, forecasting, and expenses; monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop action plans to reduce shrink and meet sales and profit goals.
  4. Supervise and develop associates: Hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize achievements, promote belonging, and recruit qualified staff to meet staffing and growth needs.
  5. Coordinate activities: Develop relationships with stakeholders; support plans and initiatives; set goals; build accountability; identify improvements; and foster continuous learning.
  6. Ensure compliance and uphold values: Follow company policies and procedures; support mission, values, and ethics; implement related action plans; utilize the Open Door Policy; and guide on business process execution.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus legislative differential, with potential bonuses and additional pay based on location and performance.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm sales, successful CBC and training are required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor’s in Business Management and Leadership or certification in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
