Position Summary...
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. Follows recipes and measurement instructions, works with decorating tools to create decorative flowers and lettering, and ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drives bakery area performance, ensuring quality and date control standards. Prepares for seasonal events, identifies member needs, assists with purchasing decisions, and resolves member issues and concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and supporting team development through training, mentoring, and recognition. Fosters a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
- Compliance and Work Management: Adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress. Seeks continuous improvement and adapts to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to complete required training and assessments.
