Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and develop interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipes and measurements, work with decorating tools, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for making immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and product quality, while encouraging others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service, interact with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and support their development and motivation.
- Comply: Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement related action plans, and utilize the Open Door Policy.
- Complete Work: Prioritize tasks, collaborate with team members, communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to complete required training and assessments.
