Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking an Associate Merchant to support category management across stores and online channels. You will assist with supplier negotiations, purchase orders, item setups, and content accuracy to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.

The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. This role collaborates cross-functionally to enhance customer experience through accurate product content and effective communication programs. Utilizing data analysis and business insights, the Associate Merchant contributes to category strategy, budgeting, and promotional activities. The position requires strong vendor relationship management and a focus on operational excellence to drive sales performance while maintaining compliance with company policies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis and visualization tools to inform business decisions.

• Expertise in category strategy, product assortment, and modular merchandising principles to optimize sales performance.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and support supplier issue resolution.

• Ability to manage purchase orders, support item setup, and maintain pricing and promotional activities.

• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking category financial performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
