Walmart Inc. seeks an Area Manager, Quality Control to lead and mentor QC associates, ensuring compliance with Walmart quality and safety standards across warehouse operations.

You will apply advanced data tools to drive informed decisions, oversee cold-chain and HACCP processes, and manage workflow priorities to optimise inbound deliveries. The role focuses on accountability, continuous improvement, and training initiatives to maintain high standards of integrity and efficiency within the QC

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading quality control teams in warehouse or distribution center environments.
• Advanced proficiency with QC data tools and systems to support data-driven decisions.
• Experience with HACCP and commodity defect standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily QC operations on floor and in office to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Use QC tools and systems to support data-driven decisions and maintain cold-chain compliance and HACCP processes.
• Inspect inbound deliveries to ensure products meet Walmart standards.
• Conduct cooler walks and audits, reporting and implementing improvements.
• Coordinate training, succession planning, and development to sustain accountability and improvement.
• Monitor and report performance metrics to support business objectives.

About the team:
The Quality Control team ensures products consistently meet Walmart’s quality standards, food safety, and cold chain requirements. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, suppliers, and logistics partners, the team conducts inspections, audits, and reporting within temperature-controlled environments. They focus on compliance and continuous improvement through data analysis and quality performance monitoring. This team values attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence in food safety and quality control, supporting Walmart’s mission to deliver safe, high-quality products to customers efficiently and reliably.

• Advanced proficiency with QC tools and data systems such as SharePoint, Tableau, and Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
• Strong ability to manage operational audits, including HACCP and commodity defect standards, while enforcing workflow and quality procedures.
• Demonstrated skills in coaching, accountability, and performance management to develop and maintain high-performing teams.
• Effective communication skills to report metrics, lead meetings, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations leadership.
• Capacity to forecast staffing needs and adapt to changing operational demands with a focus on continuous improvement.
