Job summary

Farmina is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to establish and maintain long-term client relationships and to expand the Farmina brand within the assigned territory.

The role requires traveling up to 75% and working closely with distribution partners to visit stores on a 6–8 week cycle, acquire new accounts, and deliver merchandising and training support. A bachelor’s degree is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience in the pet food industry.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule others.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross functionally.
• Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
• Willingness to travel 75%.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining retail customers in the assigned territory.
• Riding along with distribution representatives.
• Visiting stores on a 6-to-8-week rotation.
• Obtaining new accounts.
• Providing merchandising support.
• Training employees.
• Attending trade shows.
• On-time submission of expense reports including mileage.
