Job summary

LION TotalCare, Inc. is seeking a TotalCare Center Manager to lead the Wilmington facility that cleans PPE gear for Firefighters and First Responders. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality, and coordinate a responsive sales program.

Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining NFPA-standard compliance, scheduling pickups/deliveries, and driving customer satisfaction. This on-site role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred, will accept relevant industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in computerized warehouse, industrial laundry and/or product maintenance environments.
  • Experience with MS Office and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is a strong asset.
  • Experience managing sales representatives is a bonus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
  • Self-motivation and organization are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer problems and provide service to fire departments as needed.
  • Serve as local safety lead: enforce health/safety regs, provide training, conduct safety meetings.
  • Monitor workflow to identify more efficient operating methods.
  • Maintain and update procedure documents.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

LION is an international company that operates in three markets: the emergency services, military and civilian agency uniforms, and personal equipment markets. LION serves a global customer base of fire departments, military installations, institutions, corporate organizations, and training companies from multiple offices around the world.

The TotalCare Center Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and sales team of the TotalCare facility that cleans PPE gear for Firefighters and First Responders. You will provide contractual maintenance service, item tracking, and reporting to fire departments. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, efficient service delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Location: 9 Germay Drive Suite 200A, Wilmington, Delaware, 19804

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when needed to meet client needs.

Reports to: VP, TotalCare

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage the daily operations and sales of the facility with a focus on quality and customer service.
  • Ensure operational compliance with established procedures and applicable NFPA standards.
  • Efficiently maintain pickup and delivery schedule.
  • Hire, train and manage the onsite staff.
  • Manage the financials and assist with sales planning for the facility.
  • Ensure computer systems and facility equipment remain operational.
  • Resolve customer problems and provide customer service to all fire departments when needed.
  • Function as the local safety leader to include: ensuring health and safety regulations are observed, provide safety training to employees, safety audits and conducting safety meetings.
  • Monitor and evaluate the workflow to identify more efficient methods of operation.
  • Maintain and update procedure documents.
  • Other duties as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but will accept relative industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience within a computerized warehouse, industrial laundry and/or product maintenance environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP considered a huge asset.
  • Experience managing sales representatives a bonus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
  • Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction
  • May be required at times to perform light lifting and carrying (30 lbs) and up to 8 hours a day on standing/walking/ driving.
  • Required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, telephones.
