Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a Global Procurement Operations Director to lead regional Procurement Operations across Purchase Order-to-Pay processes, driving operational excellence and global consistency. You will collaborate with global category teams and suppliers to deliver scalable procurement services in a dynamic semiconductor environment.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in procurement and a track record of implementing AI-enabled solutions to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, or operations leadership.
• 12+ years in the semiconductor industry, preferably supporting High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• 5+ years in a global operations, procurement, or supply chain leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience establishing operational metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading strategic transformation programs.
• Proven proficiency in AI, automation, and data-driven decision making, with experience leading AI-enabled business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year Procurement Operations strategy aligned with business objectives, collaborator needs, and evolving supplier landscapes.
• Lead regional Procurement Operations teams across Purchase Order-to-Pay processes, ensuring effective service delivery, operational excellence, and global consistency.
• Drive AI and automation adoption within Procurement Operations, applying AI best-known methods (BKMs), intelligent workflows, and human-in-the-loop solutions to improve efficiency, decision-making, and collaborator experiences.
• Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, operational controls, and departmental performance plans.
• Partner with senior business leaders, Procurement Category teams, and global collaborators to develop and implement strategic solutions that support business growth and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and procurement procedures while maintaining strong governance and risk management practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, business partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, manage conflict, and promote a customer-focused approach.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement leaders and teams while effectively communicating corporate initiatives, strategic priorities, and organizational objectives.
