Job summary

Kinco Automation is establishing its first US site in Silicon Valley, inviting you to lead the pilot assembly line, manage the warehouse and showroom, and mentor a growing technician team, while coordinating with China HQ for standards and training.

You will oversee end-to-end setup, introduce workflows, ensure quality, and support customers with technical expertise, including travel to China as needed. This is a hands-on leadership role in a ground-floor operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in production, manufacturing, or technical support in robotics core components.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical/electromechanical assembly, testing, and quality control.
• Full professional fluency in English for leadership and customer-facing work.
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin for discussions with China HQ engineering; reading technical Chinese is a plus.
• Experience leading or training a small team is a plus.
• Self-starter thriving in an early-stage, small-team environment.
• Able to perform hands-on work on a production floor, standing long hours and lifting equipment/parts.
• Willing to travel to China periodically; authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission the site's pilot assembly line, own work instructions, end-of-line testing, and traceability.
• Lead the site's technicians, hire/train/coach the team as volume grows.
• Run light assembly and integration of robotic joint modules and motion-control components.
• Establish workflow, quality control, safety practices, and inventory management for line and warehouse.
• Provide pre- and after-sales technical support to US customers, coordinating with overseas sales and China engineering.
• Support joint industrialization projects with US manufacturing partners.
• Host customers and partners at showroom, presenting Kinco's capabilities.
• Coordinate daily with China teams, including occasional early-morning or evening calls.
• Travel to Kinco headquarters in China for training; growth through expanding US partner network.
