US PV Procurement Lead: Sourcing & Supply Chain Strategy

Job summary

JA Solar seeks a Procurement Lead to lead US local PV supply base development, manage cross-border sourcing in the US and Southeast Asia, and ensure supply resilience for US manufacturing sites.

You will coordinate with HQ supply chain, drive supplier audits, negotiations and capacity commitments, and align with logistics and compliance teams to secure a stable materials flow for ongoing ramp-up and production.

Qualifications

• PV industry supply chain experience required.
• 5–7+ years in supply chain, procurement or supplier management.
• Experience with US PV manufacturers or SEA supply chains preferred.
• Knowledge of US import/export regulations and IRA provisions.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English for business negotiations and cross-region communication.
• Proficient in Oracle ERP and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research, evaluation and development of US local PV supply base and diversified supplier pipeline.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering and Legal for supplier audits and term negotiations.
• Execute procurement activities against US plant production plans and track orders.
• Establish early warning systems for material shortages and resolve disruptions.
• Align HQ resources with US operations to enable ramp-up and production.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and drive cost reductions and efficiency.
