Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Vice President of Procurement, Americas to lead the regional procurement organization and shape commercial strategy for utility-scale solar and energy storage portfolios. You will report to the Global Head of Procurement and manage a team of five directors across the Americas.

You will align regional priorities with global strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive commercial governance, risk mitigation, and procurement excellence in a highly matrixed,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or commercial leadership.
• At least five years of experience leading teams at director level or above.
• Significant utility-scale energy, infrastructure, or complex capital project procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Americas procurement organization, including a team of five directors.
• Define and execute regional procurement strategy aligned with global priorities.
• Negotiate high-value, complex contracts and framework agreements.
• Develop sourcing strategies for BESS, solar PV, high-voltage equipment, and major categories.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and manage risk across the project lifecycle.
• Support investment decisions, diligence, and delivery with stakeholders.
