CSL Behring, a global biotherapeutics leader, seeks a Sr. Director of US Policy Strategy to guide CSL’s health policy and market access agenda, translating policy shifts into business actions that support patient access and portfolio value.

Reporting to the Head of US Patient Advocacy & Government Affairs, this hybrid role combines policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and executive briefings to shape pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies across CSL’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as J.D., M.P.H., M.P.P., or similar discipline preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in health policy, government affairs, market access policy, or related field; pharma/biotech experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership of a policy function or major policy portfolio with the ability to drive execution.
• Strong judgment and executive presence to advise senior leaders and mobilize cross-functional partners.
• Deep understanding of the US healthcare and pharmaceutical policy environment, including federal and state policymaking and major industry associations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead CSL’s federal and state health policy strategy aligned with corporate priorities.
• Monitor, analyze, and forecast legislative and regulatory developments across the US policy landscape.
• Identify policy risks and opportunities across CSL’s portfolio and develop strategies to address impact.
• Lead development of CSL’s US policy positions, advocacy priorities, and executive briefings.
• Represent CSL before policymakers, payers, and external stakeholders to advance priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate policy strategy with business strategy.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
