Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Sr. Director of US Policy Strategy to lead the company’s federal and state health policy and market access strategy.

The role requires translating complex policy issues into clear business implications and advising senior leadership across multiple therapeutic areas. The position reports to the Head of US Patient Advocacy & Government Affairs and is hybrid, with three onsite days weekly, spanning immunology, hematology, cardiovascular/metabolic, transplant, and respiratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 15+ years of health policy/government affairs or market access experience.
• Proven ability to lead policy portfolios and drive execution across teams.
• Deep knowledge of US healthcare policy including Medicare/Medicaid, 340B, and PBM reform.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal and state health policy strategy aligned with corporate priorities.
• Monitor, analyze, and forecast legislative/regulatory developments across US policy.
• Identify policy risks/opportunities and develop strategies for business impact.
• Develop policy positions, briefings, and external advocacy materials.
