Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Berkeley Heights, NJ, is seeking a Specialist, U.S. Payroll and People Operations to own end-to-end payroll processing and time administration using UKG Pro.

You will partner with People Operations, HRIS, Finance, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure accurate pay, compliance, and service delivery. The role requires 3–5 years of multi-state payroll experience, strong UKG Pro skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in multi-state payroll processing.
• Hands-on experience configuring UKG Pro and UKG Pro Workforce Management at an intermediate level.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, tax reporting, audits, and payroll accounting principles.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for complex reporting.
• Experience using a case management system to document and resolve payroll inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end biweekly U.S. payroll processing in UKG Pro with accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to pay, taxes, timecards, PTO, and payroll policies.
• Support time and attendance processing in UKG Pro Workforce Management, including audits and leave‑related coding.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, retroactive adjustments, and payroll corrections as needed.
• Perform payroll balancing, validation, reconciliations, and approvals prior to submission.
