VisaNurse is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for permanent U.S. opportunities in Woodstock, CT. This role supports patients in hospitals, rehab centers, and clinics, helping regain independence and daily living skills.

You'll collaborate with healthcare teams, complete licensure steps, and navigate TN visa processes. Canadian-trained OTs are encouraged to apply, with competitive compensation and ongoing relocation support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Canadian OT registration/licensure.
• Eligible for U.S. state OT licensure.
• Eligible for VisaScreen Certificate, if required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living, mobility, and independence.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTs, SLPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
