Job summary

VisaNurse connects Canadian Occupational Therapists with permanent, full-time opportunities across U.S. healthcare settings. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to help patients regain independence and improve daily living. The role includes licensure navigation and TN visa support for permanent employment with partner facilities.

Qualifications

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Canadian Occupational Therapist registration/licensure.
Eligible for U.S. state OT licensure.
Eligible for VisaScreen Certificate, if required.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow facility policies and regulatory requirements.
