Job summary

Discom, a global leader in acoustic quality analysis and EoL testing, seeks a motivated Business Development Manager for the USA. You will drive growth by targeting OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and test bench manufacturers, bridging US customers with our Germany-based engineering team.

You will travel extensively, deliver technical and commercial expertise, and shape market positioning while collaborating with a global HBK ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Acoustics is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills essential.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in US automotive and industrial testing markets.
• Explain complex acoustics and NVH concepts to engineering and QA teams.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead to closing and forecast accurately.
• Tailor hardware/software solutions to customer test benches and production lines.
• Provide market feedback to R&D for product development.
