Job summary

AstraZeneca plc seeks a US Oncology Medical Lead for Lung to set direction and drive evidence generation that informs clinical practice across the US. You will lead cross-functional execution from early development through launch, partnering with clinical experts, advocacy groups, and internal teams to improve patient outcomes.

You will guide site engagement, plan publications, and ensure governance and compliance while building a high-performing Medical Affairs team nationwide.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in science with broad Medical Affairs exposure.
• Experience driving medical strategy alignment with corporate goals.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships with payers, providers and patients.
• Strong understanding of evidence generation, trials, and real-world data.

Responsibilities

• Own US medical strategy for lung cancer portfolio and align with corporate objectives.
• Define high-value evidence gaps; plan interventional and real-world studies.
• Lead launch readiness and lifecycle activities for new indications.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing.
