Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited seeks a Medical Director to lead global medical affairs for lung cancer, shaping evidence generation, publications, and medical training. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, LOCs, and external stakeholders to ensure patient-centric medical plans and strong scientific communications.

The role requires an MD/PhD/PharmD with extensive oncology experience and a track record in launching programs, budgets, and multi-regional leadership.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD required
• 7+ years healthcare or related experience
• 5+ years Medical Affairs or related industry experience with launch experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of pharma industry dynamics and brand lifecycle
• Oncology/hematology experience preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience overseeing budgets and targets
• Advanced PC skills (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint); SharePoint; AI tools helpful

Responsabilités

• Provide scientific/clinical leadership to develop and execute the lung cancer medical strategy and related deliverables.
• Lead evidence generation, data analysis, publications, and thought-leader engagements.
• Represent Medical Affairs on global product teams and provide medical input for planning.
• Coordinate cross-regional medical strategy with LOCs and input to lifecycle plans.
• Guide asset strategy for clinical development and brand/tactical plans.
• Lead or support Phase 3B/4 studies and investigator-initiated studies in lung cancer.
• Organize global advisory boards and communicate findings across teams.
• Support publication strategy and internal training, congress plans, and symposia.
• Foster KOL relationships and cross-functional collaboration globally.
• Represent Takeda Oncology at external congresses and scientific meetings.
