Job summary

AUMOVIO Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Legal Counsel to join its Auburn Hills, USA team. You will provide day-to-day advice on U.S. employment practices and support HR and management on compliance.

The role covers federal, state and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, and multi-state considerations. You will partner with HR to shape policy, conduct investigations, and manage outside counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with license to practice in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience as a corporate or firm lawyer, preferably with international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment laws.
• Experience advising HR and management on employee relations, FMLA, ADA, wage/hour, investigations.
• Experience supporting multi-state U.S. operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on U.S. employment practices and compliance.
• Advise on federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII and other anti-discrimination laws.
• Analyze developments and guide business impact and implementation requirements.
• Partner with HR on policy development, employee relations and performance management.
• Manage outside counsel on litigation and administrative matters as appropriate.
