Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a US Import Compliance Analyst to support nine NAM locations and two divisions, ensuring adherence to import regulations and managing importer of records. The role includes coordinating with external brokers, performing cost analyses, and contributing to audits and training.

The analyst will support C-TPAT initiatives and supply chain security programs, with on-site duties at Lake Zurich, IL or other U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of customs, FDA, and DEA regulations and processes.
• FDA ACE import coding knowledge is required; pharmaceutical and medical device experience preferred.
• Experience with both US import regulations operations.

Responsabilidades

• Support nine NAM Marketing Unit and NAM Production Unit locations across Fresenius Kabi (Pharma) and Fenwal (Med Tech) Importer of Records (IORs).
• Adhere to formal control procedures and training, ensuring import regulations are met within operations.
• Monitor and audit the regulatory filing performance of external partners providing import brokerage services.
• Timely management of the Import operational Inbox and service levels for internal and external customers.
• Review shipment documentation for compliance and provide instructions and approvals.
• Assist in obtaining import permits (USDA, DEA, etc.) in collaboration with appropriate departments.
• Liaise with external customs brokers to ensure accuracy of import documentation and declarations.
• Maintain Trade Master Data Management and Brokerage Databases; classify products and manage government agency declarations (HTS, ECCN, COO, FDA affiliation, PGA).
• Manage recordkeeping and archive of import entry packets.
• Provide project management support for high-profile US import launches including demand planning and TPM.
• Identify regulatory inquiries, escalate to management, and support reviews.
• Process internal monthly cost allocations for duties/fees with US Customs; identify anomalies and cost savings.
• Analyze international import brokerage networks to balance efficiency, capacity, service, and cost.
• Develop cost/value metrics and present results in management-ready documents.
• Support C-TPAT and regulatory change reviews; conduct import training.
