Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director for U.S. Hematology Marketing, based in Upper Gwynedd, PA (Hybrid) or Remote. The role drives strategic planning, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration to support a broad hematology portfolio across MPNs, Lymphoma, and Leukemia.

Travel up to 20% is expected, with a focus on leadership and scientific exchange. The successful candidate will build relationships with scientific leaders, define brand priorities, manage external speaker

Qualifications

• 5 years of pharmaceutical experience with hematology focus.
• 3+ years of hematology experience and external relationships.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and work cross-functionally.
• Experience navigating legal, regulatory, and clinical reviews for materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead hematology marketing strategy and portfolio launch activities.
• Build relationships with hematology leaders and stakeholders.
• Define brand priorities and educate through scientific advocacy.
• Manage speaker bureaus and speaker training.
• Develop competitive plans and disseminate brand messages scientifically.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to engage external thought leaders.
• Plan national exhibits and conventions for hematology portfolio.
• Oversee budget and collaborate with Health Economics and Access teams.
