Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, U.S. Hematology Marketing, to lead strategic marketing initiatives for a broadened hematology portfolio.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, educate stakeholders, and drive external speaker programs while shaping brand priorities across MPNs, Lymphoma, and Leukemia. The role involves budget development, economic value discussions, and collaboration with Medical Affairs to influence treatment pathways.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of relevant hematology experience and external relationships.
• Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience influencing without direct authority and cross-functional collaboration.
• Healthcare Provider promotion experience navigating legal/regulatory review.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build relationships with hematology scientific leaders and stakeholders.
• Provide input into hematology portfolio marketing direction and strategic choices.
• Define brand priorities and best practices for scientific education and advocacy.
• Manage hematology external speaker bureaus and speaker training.
• Lead development and execution of scientific competitive plans and disseminate brand messages.
