Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics seeks a Healthcare Airfreight Director to lead the U.S. Healthcare Airfreight practice, driving strategy, quality, and growth.

You will partner with airlines, packaging providers, and customers to deliver compliant, temperature-controlled solutions with global teams and stakeholders. Travel is required to support RFQs, implementations, and continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of airfreight experience with healthcare/pharma logistics.
• Deep knowledge of GDP requirements and temperature-controlled packaging.
• Experience managing healthcare airfreight solutions and customer implementations.
• Strong relationship-building with customers, carriers, and partners.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders globally.
• Results-driven with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Ongoing learning and development opportunities to support career growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Hellmann's Healthcare Airfreight strategy across the United States.
• Partner with airlines, packaging providers, and transportation partners to deliver world-class healthcare logistics solutions.
• Support customer meetings, RFQs, implementations, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Drive GDP-compliant healthcare airfreight processes, quality standards, and operational excellence.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for temperature-controlled airfreight solutions, packaging, and market developments.
• Collaborate with global, regional, and local teams to expand Hellmann's healthcare airfreight portfolio.
• Support customer onboarding, route risk assessments, SOP development, CAPA processes, and compliance initiatives.
• Deliver training, best practices, and industry expertise across the healthcare network.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (Mexico, Brazil, Canada, and other locations).

What You Bring
