Job summary

CIBC US in New York is seeking a Trade Support professional for the US Fixed Income Trade Control team. You will execute and coordinate primary dealer trade support, manage pre-auction inventory reconciliations, and own day-to-day US Treasury and Agency auction activities.

The role requires 3–7 years in trade support or related areas, a Bachelor’s degree, and FINRA Series 7 or 99. Strong Excel, TAAP, Broadridge, and Bloomberg TOMS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of Fixed Income products including US Treasuries and Agencies.
• Experience with trade capture, reconciliation, exception management and order management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree required; FINRA Series 7 or 99 required or to be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate Primary Dealer Trade Support activities for US Fixed Income trading, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform pre-auction inventory reconciliation for US Treasuries and Agencies and resolve discrepancies.
• Own day-to-day US Treasury and Agency auction support including order prep, submission, and post-auction reconciliation.
• Update TAAP system for firm and client orders with accuracy.
• Develop standardized auction order templates to streamline submissions and reduce risk.
• Manage trade capture, allocation, and settlement; feed trades to downstream systems.
• Identify and resolve trade exceptions and reconciliation gaps across internal and external platforms.
• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for front office, operations, technology, and external utilities.
