Job summary

TMX is seeking a Market Operations specialist to join the AlphaX US team, working with the market operations group in Canada to support US equities clients on a trading floor. You will gain experience at the cutting edge of US equity markets, building relationships and ensuring smooth platform operation through onboarding, certification, and issue resolution.

Requirements include 2+ years in US financial markets, SIE and Series 99 within four months, strong communication, and a hybrid NYC office

Qualifications

• 2+ years in US financial markets.
• SIE and Series 99 within 4 months of hire.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding new clients, including setup and activation of participants and tech vendors.
• Support participants with market access needs and configuration changes.
• Maintain core US equities production trading operations and monitor system health.
• Provide level one support to a broad range of Participants on trading floor.
• Collaborate with AlphaX US, Canada teams and regulatory/compliance units.
