Job summary

PartnerOne Software Inc is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive origination and nurture relationships in the US market. You will travel for conferences, engage mid-market bankers and founders, and work with the senior deal team on screening and initial conversations.

You will manage a multi-event travel calendar, maintain CRM data, and report on pipeline and activity. A finance-focused degree and 2–5 years in related roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, biz dev, banking or corporate development.
• Track record of building relationships that generated revenue or deal flow.
• Ability to read P&L and discuss valuation with bankers or founders.

Responsibilities

• Conferences and events: represent P1 at software, M&A and industry conferences across the US; plan attendee lists and meetings.
• Relationship management: build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, brokers and business owners; keep intermediaries updated on criteria.
• Deal origination: generate a steady flow of acquisition opportunities; conduct first-screen conversations with sellers and advisors.
• Pipeline and reporting: own the CRM; log activities and opportunities; provide weekly pipeline and activity updates.
