Job summary

PartnerOne is seeking a Business Development Associate to be its face in the US market, building and maintaining relationships with investment bankers, M&A advisors, brokers and founders to generate qualified deal flow.

You will run your own calendar and territory from day one, travel frequently to software and industry conferences, and collaborate with the senior deal team on screening and initial conversations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, investment banking, private equity or related finance.
• Track record of building relationships that produced revenue or deal flow and meeting targets.
• Basic finance knowledge: P&L, recurring revenue metrics, valuation discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent P1 at software, M&A and industry conferences across the US (1–3 events per month).
• Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, M&A advisors, brokers and founders.
• Generate a steady flow of qualified acquisition opportunities and run first-screen conversations.
• Own CRM, log all contacts and opportunities, and report on pipeline weekly.
