Job summary

Pharming Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director - Compliance to lead the US Compliance program and team, embedding compliance into business strategy and culture.

The role partners with senior management, advises on risk, and drives compliant growth across functions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with compliance certification, 10+ years in US pharmaceutical compliance, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus compliance certification or equivalent professional education.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in US pharmaceutical compliance roles; exposure to global pharmaceutical compliance preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of US laws and healthcare compliance standards.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects and related compliance systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Commitment and alignment to Pharming’s vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and evolution of the U.S. Compliance program.
• Coach and lead the U.S. Compliance team (currently 1 direct report).
• Serve as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Promote a culture of integrity and patient-centric decision-making.
• Harmonize policies with global Compliance colleagues.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Leverage analytics tools to enhance risk detection.
• Advise on business programs and interactions with healthcare stakeholders for compliance.
• Chair the US Compliance Committee.
• Support process reviews in alignment with Global Compliance strategies.
• Conduct investigations with Legal and HR as needed.
