Job summary

Pharming Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director of Compliance to lead the US Compliance program and team, embedding regulatory excellence into business strategy and culture.

The role partners with senior management to enable compliant growth and strategic decision-making. The position can be based in Warren, NJ (hybrid) or fully remote for candidates who can travel to the NJ office quarterly and for other required travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and compliance certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years US pharmaceutical compliance experience.
• Deep knowledge of US laws (AKS, False Claims Act, FDA rules, Sunshine Act, state laws).
• Familiarity with industry associations and codes.
• Ability to lead complex multi-stakeholder programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Experience building compliance programs.
• Management experience.
• Aligned with Pharming’s vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of US Compliance program and internal controls.
• Coach the US Compliance team (1 direct report).
• Advise senior leadership balancing risk and growth.
• Promote integrity and patient-centric decisions.
• Harmonize policies with global Compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and track outcomes.
• Leverage analytics to enhance risk detection.
• Advise on interactions with healthcare stakeholders for US.
• Chair the US Compliance Committee.
• Assist investigations with Legal and HR.
• Report to the Board on compliance risks as needed.
• Educate employees on compliance and trainings.
• Implement KPIs and dashboards for senior management and Board.
