Job summary

EMD Serono in Boston seeks a Senior Manager, US Communications to lead day-to-day communications for Rare Tumors brands and serve as the liaison to US business leadership. You will own tactics end-to-end, from planning through flawless execution, and be fluent in pharma processes, including vendor contracting and MLR reviews.

You will also flex into other product communication needs, supporting a Fertility launch and collaborating across Brand, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Patient Advocacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare communications, ideally with exposure to rare disease and US market dynamics.
• Hands-on experience managing communications tactics end-to-end, including agency/vendor management, MLR review processes and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of communications tactics across the three US Rare Tumors brands and liaise with US leadership.
• Manage agency and vendor contracts and budgets, and shepherd content through MLR processes.
• Coordinate with brand, medical, legal, regulatory, patient advocacy, and market access teams for launches.
• Support a Fertility launch and cross-TA communications needs.
• Provide strategic advisory to US Rare Tumors leadership and ensure timely communications.
