Job summary
UTAC is seeking a Business Development Representative for Certification & Technical Services in the United States. This hunter-focused role emphasizes creating new customer relationships, expanding certification services including IATF 16949 and ISO standards, and driving a strong self-sourced pipeline across Testing, Solutions, and Services.
The candidate will work with UTAC Certification and technical teams, travel nationally, and pursue opportunities in automotive and related industries while
Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical sales or business development preferred.
- Experience selling certification, testing, or related services preferred.
- Fluency in English required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a US certification sales plan with target accounts.
- Identify and win certification opportunities across UTAC’s scope.
- Promote management system certification services (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
- Build relationships with stakeholders to identify needs and buying timelines.
- Generate self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Coordinate with certification and testing teams to develop proposals and deliverables.
- Achieve new-business and pipeline objectives and report progress to leadership.
