Job summary

Sagemcom is seeking an Energy Product Manager for North America, based in Dallas, TX. You will drive the product strategy and roadmap for ANSI Meter products, ensuring compliance with North American standards and AMI 2.0 challenges.

You will collaborate with R&D, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to secure design, development, qualification, and implementation in Sagemcom facilities. You will define and manage one or several products in line with the Smart Electricity department's strategy and

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Complementary business certification or diploma is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of NAM standards (UL, UL-C, ANSI, Measurement Canada).
  • Understanding of AMI 2.0 challenges (DER, Behind the Meter, Advanced Capabilities).
  • First experience in project or product management.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage one or several products in line with NAM Department strategy.
  • Define product specifications and requirements.
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team (R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing).
  • Support innovation across the product lifecycle.
  • Provide support to the sales teams and customers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Energy Product Manager for North America. The candidate will be responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap for our ANSI Meter Product range ensuring compliance and compatibility with the North American Standards and AMI 2.0 challenges.

The Product Manager leads, animates and collaborates tightly with R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing teams to secure the design, development, qualification and implementation of the product in Sagemcom manufacturing facilities.

You will be responsible for defining and managing one or several products in line with the Smart Electricity department's product strategy.

The candidate will report to the North America subsidiary director, based in Dallas (Texas), and will be part of a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves their challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage one or several products in line within the NAM Department strategy within the Energy Business Line
  • Define product specifications
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team (R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing)
  • Support innovation
  • Provide support to the sales teams
Qualifications
  • Master degree from a general engineering school or university or with a specialization in electronics or telecommunications
  • Complementary Business Certification or diploma can be a plus
  • Good knowledge and expertise of the NAM standards (UL, UL-C, ANSI, Measurement Canada)
  • Good understanding of the AMI 2.0 challenges (DER, Behind the Meter, Advanced Capabilities...)
  • First successful experience in project management or product management
  • Analytical mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivation for business trips
  • Certifications such as PMI, Prince2, or ITIL a real advantage
  • French and Spanish languages can be a plus
