Ad Astra, Inc. seeks U.S.-based Wenzhou linguists for remote translation, review, and editing work. Candidates may handle English↔Wenzhou content, with emphasis on legal and government-related material. This is a freelance/project-based opportunity open to professionals in the United States.

Responsibilities include translating texts, reviewing quality, and maintaining consistent terminology while preserving formality and tone across diverse content areas.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Fluency in English and Wenzhou.
• Two years of professional legal translation experience for translator roles.
• Five years of relevant professional experience for reviewer/editor roles.
• Experience with legal, criminal, or government-related content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be willing and able to undergo and successfully complete the required government clearance process.

We are currently seeking U.S.-based Wenzhou linguists.

Join our team as translators, reviewers, and/or editors on an as-needed basis. If you have experience working with legal, criminal, or government-related content, we would love to hear from you.

This is a remote opportunity for linguists located in the United States.

1. Translating written content between English and Wenzhou
2. Reviewing and editing translations for accuracy and quality
3. Ensuring terminology consistency and preserving tone and register

Requirements:
