Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking U.S.-based Japanese linguists for freelance translation, review, and editing work. Roles involve translating between English and Japanese and ensuring accuracy across legal, criminal, and government-related content.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity for candidates located in the United States, with strict eligibility including U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain the government clearance required for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be located in the United States.
• At least two years of professional legal translation experience for translator roles.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience for reviewer/editor roles; experience with legal content.
• Willingness to undergo government clearance process.
