Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a physician to provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within a hospital and clinic setting. The role includes performing broad urologic procedures and delivering both inpatient and outpatient care.

The position requires collaboration with administration on service scope, equipment planning, workflow optimization, and standardizing care pathways, while leading multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within the clinic and hospital setting.
• Perform a full spectrum of general urologic procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open cases.
• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care.
• Participate in call coverage and emergency urologic services.
• Collaborate with clinic administration on scope of services, equipment planning, workflow optimization, and standardization of care pathways.
• Lead a multidisciplinary approach to patient care with primary care, oncology, nephrology, and surgical teams.
• Establish and monitor quality and outcome metrics to ensure high standards of care.
• Identify and address clinical and operational issues affecting the medical staff.
• Maintain strong referral relationships with community physicians and regional providers.
• Support development and expansion of the urology service line.
• Participate in strategic planning, including growth and outreach initiatives.
• Contribute to financial and operational oversight, including resource utilization and program performance.
