Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a physician-leader to provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within clinic and hospital settings. You will oversee a full spectrum of care, participate in call coverage and emergencies, and lead multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with administration on scope of services, equipment planning, workflow optimization, and standardization of care pathways, while maintaining strong referrals and driving growth

Qualifications

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within clinic and hospital setting
• Perform a full spectrum of general urologic procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open cases
• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care
• Participate in call coverage and emergency urologic services
• Collaborate with clinic administration on scope of services
• Equipment planning (cystoscopy, robotics if applicable, imaging, etc.)
• Workflow optimization and clinic efficiency
• Standardization of clinical protocols and care pathways
• Lead a multidisciplinary approach to patient care with primary care, oncology, nephrology, and surgical teams
• Establish and monitor quality and outcome metrics to ensure high standards of care
• Identify and address clinical and operational issues affecting the medical staff
• Maintain strong referral relationships with community physicians and regional providers
• Support development and expansion of the urology service line
• Participate in strategic planning, including growth and outreach initiatives
• Contribute to financial and operational oversight
• Resource utilization
• Program performance
• Efficiency improvements
• Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Assist in development, review, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
