Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Urologist with fellowship training or expertise in Men’s Sexual Health and Andrology to join our esteemed team in Charleston, West Virginia. CAMC is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced medical practices and innovative treatments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating disorders of the male reproductive system, and providing general urologic care. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced physicians and urology residents in our ACGME-accredited urology residency program.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat urologic conditions, emphasizing andrology and sexual medicine, including male infertility, hypogonadism, and prostate issues.
• Perform surgical procedures such as vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, penile implants, prostate surgeries, etc.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay current with advancements in urology, andrology, and sexual health through continuing education and research.
• Participate in training urology residents through daily interactions and academic activities.

Job requirements by the time of appointment include:

• MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited program.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology.
• Fellowship training or significant experience in Andrology is preferred.
• Passion and aptitude for educating residents and medical students.
• Willingness to participate in research or scholarly activities as appropriate.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
