Job summary

The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is seeking a well-trained Urologist to join Surgical Care Services as a full-time physician. The role involves evaluation and treatment of urological conditions and performing surgical procedures, admissions, consultations, and postoperative care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, emergency/on-call duties, outpatient clinics, and collaboration with primary care and allied health professionals.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship or eligible to serve in VA.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in a US state or territory.
• Residency completed in an approved core specialty with eligibility for board certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs urological surgical procedures and related preoperative/postoperative care.
• Provides evaluation and treatment of urological conditions in clinics and operating rooms.
• Participates in Emergency and On-Call schedule; collaborates with primary care and allied health professionals.
• Mentors trainees and contributes to teaching activities within Surgical Services.
