Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Phoenix is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA/ACNP) to join our expanding Urology team in Central Phoenix. Inpatient care focus with opportunities in outpatient and academic activities, including rounding, procedures, test interpretation and medication management.

You will collaborate with Urologists and multidisciplinary teams, contribute to research initiatives and clinical education while supporting a pioneering academic department at BUMC

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as an RN or APP in a Urology setting.
• Current Arizona PA license (or eligibility).
• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license, BLS, and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care focus with opportunities for outpatient work.
• Inpatient rounding and consultations, one overnight call per week.
• Performing urologic procedures (e.g., catheter placements).
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications.
• Patient education and clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with Urologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support for research and academic initiatives.
