Job summary

Banner Health in Central Phoenix seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA/ACNP) to join our Urology team in an academic medicine setting. You will contribute to inpatient rounds, outpatient services, and academic initiatives, collaborating closely with urologists and interdisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes patient education, diagnostic interpretation, and clinical documentation, with opportunities to engage in research and teaching within a pioneering Department of Urology.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as an RN or APP in a Urology setting.
• Current Arizona PA license (or eligibility).
• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license, BLS, and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding and consults.
• Performing urologic procedures (e.g., catheter placements).
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications.
• Patient education and clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with Urologists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supporting research and academic initiatives.
