Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Urology team in Clinton, Maryland. The role is based mainly at MedStar Southern Maryland Medical Center with opportunities at regional ambulatory centers, collaborating with a focused team of physicians across the MedStar service line.

The APP will perform outpatient care for pre- and post-operative patients, and be trained to perform office procedures, including diagnostic cystoscopy and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland and District of Columbia.
• Ability to work collaboratively with urologists, physicians, nurses, and other care team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for pre-op and post-op patients.
• Assist surgeons with office-based procedures and cystoscopy.
• Support a small team of physicians and office staff within MedStar Urology.
