Job Description:

Summary: Looking for a full-time general Urologist for clinic work and call coverage for 3-6 months. The Clinic Manager will provide a clinic tour and orientation before the start date. Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general cases, including clinic rounding and OR procedures. Candidates should be team players with good patient and customer service skills. A robot is available onsite at the hospital for cases if needed. The provider will be the sole provider in a fast-paced, busy department. Hospital call may be required during clinic hours.

Assignment Duration: 3-6 months starting from July 28. The site is looking for one full-time provider who can cover the dates listed below and starting the week of Dec 15th for 3-6 months. Please specify availability when submitting candidates.

Coverage Dates:

• 7/28-8/22
• 8/20-8/24
• 9/3-9/28

Total FTEs needed: 1

Rates and Compensation:

Include malpractice in rates. Orientation pay is half the hourly rate, with additional pay after 8 hours. Rates vary for different call and holiday duties, e.g., Nightly Call: $900 or less per night, Holiday Nightly Call: $1350 or less, etc. Specific rates are detailed in the original description.

Requirements:

• Minimum commitment of 3 months
• Preferred 5-6 days of shifts per month
• Start date: ASAP
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Surgeries per month: 20-30
• Procedures include cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, etc.
• Board eligible or certified
• BLS and DEA certifications required

Additional Details:

Support staff available. EMR: Epic. Provider will be rounding and on call. Travel and lodging preferences are specified. Credentialing to be completed within three weeks prior to start date. All requirements and deadlines should be carefully reviewed to ensure compliance.
