Job description

Urologist opening: Pullman, WA - Located 70 miles from Spokane

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent
• FTE: 1.0
• Call: 1:5
• EMR: Epic
• Patients per day: 20-25
• General schedule: 4 days per week
• DaVinci Robot

Responsibilities:

• Provide urology medical care services within the standard of care for patients
• Manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens for medical conditions
• Order laboratory and diagnostic tests; refer patients to specialists as needed
• Analyze reports and test results to diagnose and propose treatment options
• Discuss medication side effects and ensure allergy information is current
• Advise patients on lifestyle and diet changes to improve health
• Coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff
• Adhere to organizational policies, quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards
• Document all patient interactions and care in the EMR
• Promote a positive work environment and serve others professionally
• Train and guide medical students and residents as required
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Participate in orientation and medical staff committees
• Punctuality and attendance are essential
