Locums Urologist Opportunity - Burien, WA

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to fill a full-time locums role in Burien, Washington, located just outside Seattle. This assignment is ideal for urologists looking to provide high-quality care in a 90% outpatient, low-inpatient burden setting—with access to robotics and a supportive clinical team.

Opportunity Overview:

• Start Date: End of June 2025 (as soon as credentialed)
• Assignment Length: 3-4 months
• Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Monday: OR day (approx. 16 cases/day)
• Tuesday-Thursday: Full clinic days
• Friday: Half-day
• Call: Night call and 24-hour call required (1:4 ratio, shared with 5 local urologists)
• Availability: Must be available a minimum of 60 days and 4-5 days per week

Clinical Scope:

• General urology care: cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, BPH, stone cases
• Surgical procedures: 1-5 per week
• Patient volume: 16 clinic patients/day
• Inpatient rounding: Max 1-2 patients; rounds before clinic or at lunch
• Call volume: 4-5 calls/day; 3 in-person calls/week
• Robotic surgery: Da Vinci system available
• EMR: Epic

Facility Details:

• Location: St. Anne Hospital - 16251 Sylvester Rd SW, Burien, WA
• Practice setting: 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
• Support staff: RN, MA (Uro Tech), surgery scheduler, front desk
• Exam/Procedure Rooms: 5 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms
• Admissions: Handled by hospitalist team; urology serves as consulting

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Urology
• WA Medical License or IMLC (with LOQ in hand) - must be clearly stated
• Available full-time starting June
• ACLS, BLS, DEA - Required
• No pediatric urology (adults only, occasional patients 16+)
